Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are between you and YurUp ("YurUp," "we," "us," or "our"), operated in connection with GovCom Solutions.
By downloading, accessing, or using YurUp, you agree to these Terms and the YurUp Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The Service
YurUp provides household-coordination software and related services.
Features may include:
- Chores.
- Expense tracking and expense splitting.
- Optional receipt scanning.
- Household chat.
- Polls.
- Order Squads.
- Chore Court.
- Tidy AI.
- Notifications.
- Paid subscriptions.
- Other household-management functionality.
Features may be changed, added, limited, suspended, or discontinued.
Third-party providers, including Firebase, Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and Groq, may affect feature availability and performance.
YurUp is not a provider of legal, financial, tax, medical, or other professional advice.
Expense balances and splits are based on user-provided information and calculations performed by the service. Users remain responsible for verifying balances and completing any real-world settlement.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use YurUp.
By creating an account, you represent that you meet the applicable minimum-age requirement and are legally permitted to agree to these Terms.
Accounts
You agree to:
- Provide accurate account information.
- Keep your credentials secure.
- Maintain control of authentication methods associated with your account.
- Promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access.
- Use the service only through authorized access methods.
YurUp may support:
- Email and password authentication.
- Google Sign-In.
- Sign in with Apple.
- Optional multifactor authentication.
- Email verification.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to address:
- Violations of these Terms.
- Fraud.
- Abuse.
- Security risks.
- Legal requirements.
- Harm to users, YurUp, GovCom Solutions, or third parties.
Households and Shared Content
YurUp allows users to create or join shared households.
Content entered or shared within a household may be visible to other household members.
Users are responsible for:
- Selecting appropriate household members.
- Managing household roles and permissions.
- Reviewing content before sharing it.
- Resolving interpersonal or financial disputes between household members.
- Ensuring they have permission to upload or share content involving other people.
YurUp does not control relationships between household members and is not responsible for household disputes or agreements between users.
Acceptable Use
You may not:
- Use YurUp for unlawful purposes.
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse another person.
- Upload unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
- Interfere with the operation or security of the service.
- Introduce malware or malicious code.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or probe the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Circumvent subscription quotas, age restrictions, authentication requirements, or security controls.
- Misrepresent your identity.
- Use YurUp to violate another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights.
- Use automated systems in a manner that creates unreasonable service load.
We may investigate suspected misuse and take appropriate action.
AI Features
YurUp may provide AI-assisted features such as Tidy AI and receipt parsing.
To provide these features, prompts, conversation history, household context, receipt images, and receipt text may be sent to Groq.
AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, or outdated.
You agree to:
- Review AI-generated output.
- Verify important information independently.
- Avoid relying on AI output for critical legal, financial, tax, medical, safety, or emergency decisions.
- Avoid submitting information you are not authorized to share.
- Remain responsible for messages or actions you choose to send or take based on AI output.
Voice input or other AI functionality may be unavailable or disabled.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Paid features may be offered through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Subscriptions are billed and managed by the applicable app store.
RevenueCat may be used to synchronize subscription entitlements.
You are responsible for:
- Reviewing subscription terms before purchasing.
- Managing renewal settings.
- Canceling through the applicable app-store account.
- Maintaining valid payment information with Apple or Google.
Deleting a YurUp account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, refunds are handled according to Apple's or Google's policies.
You may not attempt to bypass paid-feature restrictions, quotas, subscription validation, or entitlement checks.
Intellectual Property
YurUp, GovCom Solutions, and their licensors own the service, including applicable:
- Software.
- Designs.
- Branding.
- Logos.
- Interfaces.
- Documentation.
- Service content.
- Intellectual-property rights.
These Terms provide a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these Terms.
No ownership interest in YurUp is transferred to you.
User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to YurUp.
You grant YurUp and its service providers a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, display, and otherwise use your content solely as reasonably necessary to:
- Operate the service.
- Provide requested features.
- Synchronize household data.
- Deliver AI functionality.
- Provide support.
- Maintain security.
- Comply with law.
You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit and share your content.
Third-Party Services
YurUp relies on third-party services, which may include Firebase, Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and Groq.
Third-party services may be governed by their own terms, privacy policies, availability, and technical limitations.
We are not responsible for third-party services beyond the extent required by applicable law.
App Store Terms
These Terms are between you and YurUp, not Apple or Google.
Apple and Google are not responsible for maintaining or supporting YurUp except as required under their applicable store rules.
Where applicable, Apple and Google may be third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may have the right to enforce relevant provisions.
Your use of YurUp must also comply with applicable Apple App Store or Google Play rules.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, YurUp is provided "as is" and "as available."
We do not guarantee that:
- The service will always be available.
- The service will be uninterrupted.
- The service will be error-free.
- Data will never be lost.
- AI output will be accurate.
- Notifications will always arrive.
- Household members will act appropriately.
- Expense calculations will reflect real-world payments.
- Third-party services will remain available.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, YurUp, GovCom Solutions, and their affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages.
This includes damages arising from:
- Loss of data.
- Loss of access.
- Missed notifications.
- Subscription issues.
- AI-generated output.
- Household disagreements.
- Expense disputes.
- Service interruption.
- Third-party services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, total aggregate liability arising from or relating to YurUp will not exceed the greater of:
- The amount you paid for YurUp during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
- USD $50.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless YurUp, GovCom Solutions, and their affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses arising from:
- Your misuse of the service.
- Your user content.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of applicable law.
- Your violation of another person's rights.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access when reasonably necessary because of:
- A violation of these Terms.
- Security concerns.
- Fraud or abuse.
- Legal requirements.
- Risk of harm to users or the service.
- Discontinuation of the service.
You may stop using YurUp at any time.
You may request account deletion through Settings or by contacting support.
Additional account-deletion information is available in the Privacy Policy.
Termination does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically.
Updated Terms will be posted at:
The "Last updated" date will be revised when changes are published.
Continued use of YurUp after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your place of residence require otherwise.
Before filing a legal claim, you agree to contact:

You and YurUp agree to attempt informal resolution for at least 30 days.
If the dispute remains unresolved, exclusive venue will be the applicable state or federal courts located in Delaware, and the parties consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts, except where prohibited by mandatory consumer law.
Either party may seek temporary or injunctive relief where appropriate to protect intellectual property, security, or non-waivable legal rights.
Miscellaneous
These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and YurUp concerning use of the service.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, corporate transaction, or operation of law.
You may not assign your rights or obligations without our prior written consent.
